Tast3 It

I built a website for a late-night cloud kitchen, designed around a bold, moody, neon-diner aesthetic instead of a typical bright fast-food look.

How it works

The layout leans on layered motion rather than static photography.

  • Built a parallax hero where the background shape, accent image, and hero dish sit on independent visual layers that move with the mouse.
  • Built a filterable menu grid with a smooth animated re-layout.
  • Built a food photo gallery with 3D tilt-on-hover.
  • Spread the experience across five pages: home, about, menu, order, and contact.

Why I built it

A late-night cloud kitchen brand needed a site that felt distinct from the bright, generic fast-food template most food websites use, something moodier that actually matched the brand.

How I approached it

I layered the hero into independent, mouse-reactive visual planes for depth, built a filterable menu with animated re-layout, and added 3D tilt-on-hover to the food gallery to keep the moody aesthetic interactive rather than static.
