- Used Prisma with NeonDB's serverless Postgres for a scalable, cost-efficient data layer.
- Set up CRON jobs via Inngest to keep market trends and salary insights updated automatically.
- Integrated Google Gemini to power AI-generated content for resumes and interview prep.
- Built a Python-based Human-Computer Interaction module using OpenCV and MediaPipe for gesture-based, accessible navigation.
Why I built it
Career planning tools are usually static: a resume builder here, a course list there, with no single place tying resume writing, skill-building, and market data together, and almost none built with alternative, accessible ways to navigate.
How I approached it
I used a serverless Postgres setup with Prisma to keep costs low while scaling, automated the market-data refresh with scheduled jobs, layered in Gemini for the AI writing features, and added an OpenCV/MediaPipe gesture-navigation module as an accessible alternative to a mouse.
